Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure of what comes next. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

After 15 years as an educator, I discovered a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges on a deeper level and transitioned into the mental health field. That background taught me to meet people where they are, recognize each person’s unique strengths and experiences, and support growth at an individual pace. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Joseph’s University in 2025 and completed my clinical internship at a substance use and mental health treatment center, where I built a strong foundation in communication, empathy, and supporting personal growth. I am currently a pre-licensed counselor working toward my Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) credential and full licensure.

At Better Headspace, I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity concerns, and low self-esteem. I am especially passionate about supporting people seeking growth, healing, and positive change — helping them better understand their thoughts, emotions, values, and patterns so they can move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

My approach is collaborative, warm, and practical. I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. ACT helps clients clarify what matters most and take steps toward living in alignment with their values. CBT helps identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop more balanced responses to life’s challenges. Mindfulness techniques help clients slow down, stay present, and approach their inner world with more compassion.

I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and my role is to walk alongside you as you discover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and build the skills to move toward the person you want to become.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my best pal, Rory, my six-year-old Golden Retriever mix. I also love exploring local restaurants with my monthly dining club and trying new cuisines with friends.
