Pre-Licensed Counselor · Working toward LAPC
Hello, I’m Ann. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, life transitions, and the stress that can come from managing many roles at once. I also have a special interest in supporting parents at every stage, as well as clients who identify as neurodivergent or are navigating ADHD-related challenges.
Life can be messy, overwhelming, and unpredictable, and you should not have to face it alone. My goal is to create a warm, safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients better understand what they are carrying, build practical coping skills, and take realistic steps forward.
I sometimes describe myself as a WOW counselor, a Wiser Older Woman. To me, that means I bring clinical training, life experience, patience, humor, and empathy into the therapy room. As a proud parent of two adult children, I understand that parenting changes over time, and each stage can bring new challenges, questions, and opportunities for growth.
If you are looking for support through a difficult season, I’d love to connect with you.
